1. Send Mail!

You know the expression, "Tis better to give than receive"? It is just as true at JewishCafe.com - if you want to receive mail, you have to send mail! Sadly, some members log a profile, and then never send any mail. They wonder why they rarely see the New Mail link flashing. The answer is simple: mail and you will be mailed!

Once you do a search, compile a list of those you are interested in under the Friends link and send, send, and send mail. It's free to contact others so don't be shy; take the initiative, they're waiting to receive mail too!

2. Create a Unique Profile!

It's easy! Your profile offers a glimpse of the person you are; different from any other. It lets others know what's special about you, what's important to you, what you enjoy and what you're searching for. Browse your profile and use the Edit Profile link to make changes.

3. Your Photo is Essential!

You know the one: A picture is worth......!!! Members consistently report that they are 10 times more likely to check out profiles with photos. Often they skip profiles without a photo. Simply put, people like to put a face to a name. It gives you the feeling that you're actually writing to someone on the other end and not just typing into cyberspace.
